Dryopteris affinis crispa graciis
£7.00
A very nice small cultivar with quite short and congested fronds. The pinnae tips are curled upwards and crisped which makes them look pointed. A relatively slow grower it prefers a sheltered site where it will remain green throughout the winter. It is well suited to rockeries or amongst less vigorous ferns and smaller woodland type plants such as Erythronium denscanis or any of the Trillium species or some of the less vigorous species of Dicentra. A good fern for the smaller spot that won't get large and out of hand but be careful he doesn't get swamped by other plantings.
